Central Branch Update: May 1, 2018

The chair is currently empty! Not a great situation, but we need an Accredited member to step up and assume the chain of office. Really, there will be lots of support. We have a great bunch of members who enjoy the get-togethers, so help us out here. Contact Jennifer Gilbert and volunteer - please.

The mandate of the Professional Photographers of Ontario is to provide an educational, business, and creative environment for professional photographers, while promoting the highest standards of personal and creative excellence within the craft. The Association seeks to safeguard and promote the interests of the membership and to promote and maintain a code of conduct and a code of ethics with which its members are expected to comply.

Photography has many rewards but also many challenges. One of the best ways to navigate these challenges is to align yourself with those who have been in the business for a while and can give you direction. A good source to making these kinds of connections is the Professional Photographers of Canada and affiliates thereof. The Central Branch of the PPO is one such avenue.

You may have noticed that our URL now resolves to "centralbranch.ca" - just a little shorter to type.

I know a lot of you never visit this site, rather relying on Facebook for all your information - that is a mistake! We have lots of good stuff here for you to take in, and as I mentioned above, let me know what is missing, or send me material to add.
